I have read about making 'paper logs' from recycled waste paper. The adverts I have seen show a metal compressing gadget. Perhaps the paper is made wet like paper machier to make a solid lump. Loads of waste paper around, they say it burns well, it is after all wood. Any ideas?
Would they work in a woodburner?

I remember my folks had one of those years ago and we spent ages making these log things with mushed up wet paper and left them to dry in the green house. Thing is - they took ages to dry and and we found that they didn't burn that well - I think maybe they were too compacted or something. Having said that - this was over 20 years ago so maybe they have improved the design since then!!
