Seeds to swap

Post: # 46454Post the.fee.fairy »

I have loads of seeds that i seem to have um...acquired...
(you know what seed catalogues are like...and special offers...).

So, if anyone wants any of these, send me something interesting and they're yours. That is ANYTHING interesting.

The packet seeds i bought last season and didn't use.
The chilli seeds are home-saves.

Image

Mixed Lettuce Leaves.
Cut and come again
1200 seeds in each packet.
2 packets available

Image

Spring onions
Bunching Onion - Ishikura
500 seeds in each packet
3 packets available

Image

Capsicum Hot and spicy
30 in each packet
2 packets available

Image

Unknown variety Chilli
Small pointy things - quite hot (don't know exactly, i saved them from some chillies i was using to cook with).
30 seeds in each packet
3 packets available
*Please note that because these are saved seeds, they're not in a fancy packet, just a homemade seed packet. i will copy a couple of chilli growing guides that i got with some of my seeds for you*

To add today:

Sweet pepper
these are also seed saves in home made packets of 30.
6 packets available

Summer Squash
Like a small Turks Turban, cute looking squash goes a stripey/washed orange/cream looking.
25 in a packet
6 available
10 in a packet
1 available

Butternut Squash
Grew nicely last year.
1 packet of 10
1 packet of 8

Shout with what you want and we'll swap details.

Seed to Swap - Newby

Post: # 46859Post mew »

Hi there

thanks for your kind offer.

If you can spare a handful of each variety you have available, im sure that would give me a good start. I cant see id need the whole packet if theres hundreds of seeds in each one so if your happy to let me have a few from each packet and let me have a copy of the packets perhaps so Ive got the sowing and harveting instructions, that would be great.

Perhaps you some ideas my way as to what you might like in return as I dont know what yours interests are and what youd find INTERESTING. I will pm you my home address and if you can do likewise with yours so I can post a swap once youve decided what you might like.

Thanks again :toothy7:

If i send you some spring onions and lettuce and chilli seeds, they'll have to be full packets (i could do less chilli seeds, because they're not sealed). i'd rather not split packets. remember that with the lettuce leaves, the packets are designed for the small gardener, these are not professional seeds. they're so that you can do lots of sowings in one season to keep the veg coming.

Interesting...well, i have no idea!! i wrote interesting so that it'd be a surprise!! It could be something like an interesting shaped thing, or something eye catching, like a pretty colour stone or something!

PM me your address, and i'll get the seeds in the post for you.

I've had a look in the seed box, and i've found a few more saved seeds from last year (some sweet peppers, some butternuts, summer squash and citrus). so i've put them in packets, i'll write out some instructions for them and send them to you too.

Good luck!
