Unexpected Gale Effects.
Had half of the lottie covered with carpets.
Suspect 4/5ths of carpets now somewhere in the English Channel.
Bother!
And the fences in my rented house/garden are well and truly squished flat, and it's down to us to replace them as landlord is in Saudi Arabia.
Double bother!
On a good point, it does seem as though my garden veg patch broccoli survived and is now edible. Hurrah! Good friend coming down on Saturday to get some fresh turnips to go with his Burns haggis :-) I'm quite proud of my neeps!

Unexpected gale effects
My beautiful chooks were killed when fence panel on neighbours garden blew down and their 4 dogs got in.

Thanks Deb. He did offer to get me some more but he takes his dogs hunting and I don't want him to get my new chooks. It would seem weird so I'll look to getting some myself. I want 2 lovely brown hens again so I'm not difficult to please. Thanks for hug.

Oh Kayte, that's awful :-(
Good luck with replacing them... I'm hoping to get chickens for the first time just as soon as hubby finishes overhauling the 2nd hand chicken run. The more I read, the more I think that dogs are the worst offenders in chicken death these days...
