Month by month ideas?

I have come up with a good idea
I've been looking through the items on "what are you growing" and will be putting my meagre list on there - but how about having (and apologies if you already have it, if so where?) a quick reference list each month (down the side of the webpage on a quick link) of what to do each month?
I'm learning all the time, and have a huge old Readers Digest book of gardening (don't you just love car boot bargains) that tells me what to do each month, but it talkes some trawling through, and I thought us "selfsufficientishers" could do something better and more user friendly (with feedback if requested maybe?)

ps - there's a few recipes in my entry headed "Irish soda bread" - thought you may wish to copy them over onto the recipe links for quick reference in case folk haven't seen them?

I have that RD book, it's very useful indeed. So much so that I bought it twice by mistake! (forgot I had the first one ~ oh dear, old age creeping in)

It really is the dog's *%^&%^s. It gives details on growing everything. Mines starting to wear out

Thinking about building a shrine for it, with candles etc.

what's the RD book called...I have one which my daughter got from her granny in 1985...it's called food from your garden and I use it all the time its got good old fashioned recipes in lke marrow and ginger jam, as well as all the gardening stuff...is that the one or do I need to start hunting for another one?

'Food from your garden' is brilliant and mine sits on the kitchen table and I just browse through whilst drinking coffee. A friend got it for me recently from Amazon, 2nd hand. It's the best book ever and the recipes are great too.
