Does anyone have a use for horrid lemonade ... yes I was a bad girl and drank diet lemonade until I discovered it was turning my brain into mush faster than the alcohol I put in it ... So to make amends for my sillyness ... is there a use for it like cleaning the toilet or do I just dump it ...

You can use cola to clean a toilet, I'd think that the lemonade might also work... pour it in and leave it overnight before flushing, should disolve the limescale.

Back when I was working as a chemist for Tooheys many years a go, one afternoon we had a bit of time on our hands so we tested the pH of all of the soft drinks we had on site. Contrary to our expectations, the lemonade rather than the cola was the most acid. So it should work well as an acid cleaner.

Well last night I did the old copper coin thing... twopence peice in a glass covered with nasty lemonade and left it while I drifted in the night realm ... and this morning I was left with a shiney two pence coin ... so toilet cleaner it will become ...

This is probably a bit OTT, but how do you use coke as a spermicide? I ahve to say that the thought of shoving somethng covered in coke up there makes my eyes water!!

Well its mainly used in third world countries to well how can i put umm to wash out the sperm from where it was put after a special cuddle the idea being the acidity kills the sperm.

I read somewhere (probably a newspaper so it must be true!) that the "working ladies" in the back streets of New York regularly use coca cola as a douche as it kills a lot more than just sperm. Apparently they believe that it guards against some STD's as well.

All very true. And I learnt another use for cola yesterday - that from a lady who used to work on an oil field in Canada, I believe: They used cola to soak the really dirty clothes, with oil stains and all, and it got them cleaner than any other product...
