Suggestions for next 101 we can reach

101 Uses For is popular and let's hope it stays that way. Our second book is presently called 101 tips for self sufficiency; we will certainly dip into this section for ideas. So post away and let's try and get at least one thread up to 101.

Suggestions for next 101 we can reach

Post: # 61374Post Andy Hamilton »

We made and got to 101 for 101 herbs and spices.

So what next? What would you like to see us get to 101 with? It can be any of the 101's we have already half done or a totally new one. Give a reason why you personally would like to see it and we will see if we can come up with some kind of consensus.

I think we should resurrect the 101 uses of a bread bag because I think it was the first one, and we've got to about 70 odd uses already. With the new members of the forum thinking up clever new ideas I'm sure we could get to 101 easy enough!

I second that motion.

Maybe we should pick lists at random from what we already have and finish them, we can probably do a few a month if we all put our heads together

Surely we should have 101 things to do a 101 list about.

Ok any more suggestions as we have reached 101 for the third time now. We are getting quite good at this. So far we have

101 things to do a 101 list about, yep I could complete that.

1. Things that come in 2's
2. Things that come in 3's
3 Things that come in 4's and so on...

I nominate - 101 uses for a plastic bottle - from what I remember there were a few threads that had this topic, it'll take some sorting to bring what we have together.

At a quick browse, I haven't seen 101 uses for jam anywhere.

My 'excuse' for not being a jam-maker is I rarely eat bread/toast and jam, leading to opened jars developing fungi (despite being in the fridge) because I can't think of other ways to regularly use it.

Any chance we could get '101 uses for jam' under way in time for blackberry season this year?

Why don't you start it? I'd like to know what else to do with all my homemade jam too!

As someone with a really, really slow t'internet connection would it be possible to list (just the name and number) the current top however many, so that I can check out what has been suggested so far? Cheeky request from someone who hasn't suggested a single 101 so far but it would help me get past the "there's too much too download and so little time" fear.
