Confused chickens, ducks and cats

We have two cats, Susan and Igor (think terry pratchett books)
We have several chickens.
Henrietta the chicken thinks she is a cat and fancies living indoors, she was most put out today when I shooed her out after she ran in full pelt when she saw me going inside. Henrietta likes to come and be stroked and will also come for a walk with you, she also adores cat food (probably the main reason why she tries to get inside all the time.

Igor the cat on the other hand comes out running every morning when the chickens get fed, you guessed it, he eats the chicken food. He is also even more confused as he will come for long walks with you like a dog would.

Now we have a few australorps amongst our motley crew and one of them has started stalking Susan the cat.

And the two ducks act as watch dogs and honk lowder than most dogs.

What have we done to them?

Aww, you're just one big happy family! My cat who died last year would come for walks with me and the chooks - she'd bring up the rear like a sheep dog. I often wonder what on earth she'd have thought of the ducks!

You are lucky they all get on. It's definitely chooks against cats here. Poor cats don't know what's hit 'em

If I take the chooks for a walk around the garden, the cats flee to the trees. I haven't the heart to tell them that chooks can fly
