Bit close to me for comfort. It is awful for the farmers, just one thing after another. I may not like the way many of them operate, but I wouldn't wish this on anyone.

I've been wondering - any catastrophe we've not had yet this year? We've still got 7 weeks or so, I'm sure we can fit in a few more epidemics...

Other farms in the cluster with Redgrave Park have now had all their birds culled as they have the same workers. Now up to about 20,000 birds culled. With a very high proprtion of all the UK poultry production round here it may well be a non turkey christmas for a lot of people if this all kicks off. Apparently the supermarkets aren't worried as most of their turkeys are frozen and imported :?
