Got some new chooks

Hi All,

Rick and I were given 6 adorable little Silver Duckwing Bantam hens and their little cockerel.

I've never had chickens this tiny before.

We've settled them in a big cage in the main coop for the moment and we're going to build them a coon-proof ark.

 Lois

They sound lovely - I like Bantams, if you have the space for them... I think they are a bit more like wild birds, aren't they?

Yes, they are like a wild bird, the wee hens could fit in a 2 cup coffee pot, they are so tiny.
