Anyone want an allotment - Torbay

Post: # 73236Post maggienetball »

I am secretary of a local allotment association and we are coming to the time of year where people give theirs up.

I have been off on sabbatical for the last 6 months and in that time no one has compiled a waiting list for me.

Therefore I am looking for takers for several anticipated plots between now and March.

Costs about £21 per year. Good size, alot have sheds on. Water on site. Secure site. Nice friendly atmosphere.

If you don't fancy a full plot, I have space on our communal allotment which has a polytunnel, fruit cage, orchard, pond, herb beds, 2 large sheds, kettle!!!, loads of tools, and a large decking area. All ages and abilities welcome.

Costs about £25 per year for membership, but you get a lot for your money including shared expertise and a fruit harvest share.

Contact me via the thread for more details.
