Aloha!

Post: # 88485Post Roxy1973 »

Hi everyone, thought I'd introduce myself...

you were recommended to me by a very good friend who is a member, and from what I've seen the site looks fantastic!

My name is Lisa, 34, my partner is Russ, 32, and we have a darling little boy Jamie who is 3 and a half months old!

Having a child (our first) we have decided to try and bring him up in the most eco-friendly natural way that we can, especially food wise - growing our own veg and fruit is a little difficult as we live in a tiny 3rd floor flat at the mo, but will try what we can, and we are hoping to move soon.

Well, enough about me...

I'm looking forward to getting to know you all and gleaning as many ideas and advice from you as I can.....

Loads of opportunities to be self-sufficient-ish in a flat... I am sure if you have a browse around here you'll find some great ideas.

Hiya Lisa - welcome to the world of Ish!

You'd be amazed what you can do in a tiny flat... When I was a student, my room in halls was famous for having all sorts of bubbling and baking things going on: wine under the desk, vinegar outside the door, yoghurt on the radiator, bread dough under the duvet.. Oh, and herbs on the windowsill, of course. And at the weekend I went out and looked for whatever fruit and nuts I could scrump!
