I'm not sure what pelleted chicken manure is in terms of NPK but sounds like it might be just nitrogen (N)?

Blood fish and bone is, I think, a mix of NPK which is what you need when planting strawberries, with maybe a top dressing of potash (K) just before fruiting time.

There is Potassium and Phosphorus in chook poo M3, according to Jackie French - in the prevously mentioned "soil food" - Fresh chook poo is 2:1.88:1.85 NPK.

That's good news then - I thought that my garden compost with added chook poo might be a bit too high in nitrogen, but sounds like it will be a nice balance.

Gunners - if this talk of NPK is gobbledigook to you, say so, and we'll try to explain!
