I second what Red said.... especially if you are using the same username on here as you are on the other forums.. or if it's a username that he would know... it's easy to google a username!

the CSA yes..wonderful system

If you believe him to be working you need to get proof and present that to the CSA. Only then will they think about looking into the matter. But knowing they work and proving it are two entirely different things. Believe me I know

In the meantime make sure that you have applied for other benefits like council tax benefit etc.

Personally I think if an absent parent won't pay what they should for their children's up keep (lie about income) it just shows how much they really care about them...zilch!

Take a Break magazine have a name and shame section. You could think about it! Maybe it would shame him into paying up.

Sadly that may not work - my x was £1700 in debt for his CSA payments and the Judge let him off!

If he says he isn't working then presumably he's claiming benefits. They'll jump on him a lot faster than the CSA if you can find out where and doing what.

I am sorry to see that your "x" isn't helping out like a real man should jane and i brought up 7 children together and at times it was REAL tough so to do it alone and on a ridiculous budget is shameful, maybe you should put up posters of him in your local area say what a spineless mouse he is allowing you to stuggle so.

I hope you get sorted real soon

All the best

I'd vote for CSA, may be a nightmare of paperwork and the like but at least there's a third party for him to 'blame' rather than you- he'd make the payments at source rather than at his convienence (if he's earning that is) if he's not earning so he doesn't have to support the girls well, words fail me. Good luck, hope it manages to stay amicable.

kind thoughts
Deb
