Do you think The Good Life could be remade, with me or Dave playing Tom Good (maybe not!)? If you have seen something on TV or heard something on the radio recently that you want to talk about, tell us here.

You Are What You Eat. I assume Dr McKeith eats a shriveled up witch with a dodgy Phd every day then.

She looks like she eats something much worse than that.

Yeah.... but....

She has got alot of people thinking about their diets... I just watched the first series and it was an eye opener - I was never that bad... but it was like looking forward 30 years and seeing what I would end up like if I kept eating 'cheesy puffs' and potato waffles.

It's all too easy to ba a nae-sayer... but she talks a lot of sense... and it needs to be extreme for TV... she annoyed me, but not as much as that '10 years younger' woman did.

I find her rude an insulting, and while what she says could be of great importance, she dilutes her own message by being a strident nutcase. I think eccentricity is fine (hope so - whole family of em!) but her delivery is unnecessarily bullying. She must employ some pretty big people to stand behind her, just off camera, if she hollered at me in the street "Your bum is too big!" I should certainly be inviting her to think of how many ways and oftentimes she could apologise to me. Similarly, if people volunteer to go on her show, then they should expect to be mobbed up for camera, but if she were to approach me, uninvited, and comment on either my diet, my looks or my lifestyle, I should be tempted to suggest she reconsider her actions.

I agree, that if "You are what you eat", then whatever she ate was unripe.

It's the cod science that gets my goat. It doesn't take a genius to realise that a junk food- based diet is going to be detrimental to your health and looks.

Didn't she get banned from calling herself a Dr, owing to the fact that she acquired her PhD via a correspondence course from a non-accredited US college and most of her nutritional advice just doesn't hold up. The fact that she sells a number of items that really don't do what they say on the tin and has been forced to withdraw many too just backs up the fact that she's a fraud.

That link doesn't work - it doesn't take you to the right video, just a list.

Can't stand the bint. Personally if she is the living enbodiment of what she preaches then pass me the chips! She's like Zelda from Terrahawks.

Any one see the Horizon program that split two groups of women, one lot went to a health farm for 2 weeks had detox diets and McKeith style foods like wheat grass drinks etc, the others whooped it up on chocolate and booze plus sensible eating.

They checked them out before and after, blood urine etc, and the detox were no better off, but much more grumpy and pissed off
It's not easy being Cheezy
So you know how great Salsify is as a veg, what about Cavero Nero, great leaves all through the winter , then in Spring sprouting broccolli like flowers! Takes up half as much room as broccolli
