I went to Waterstones in Reading last night, but couldn't see it. Is it Thursday it's officially out?
They're not weeds - that's a habitat for wildlife, don't you know?

I have seen it in Bristol Waterstones, Notting Hill Waterstones but not in Bloomsbury waterstones, it is one of the books on the table. Also seen it in Bristol Whsmiths. Eco logic are now defiently going to be stocking itbut I need to talk to the owner to get links and stuff set up. Will have to organise a time that we can get over to him to sign a few copies as well.hamster wrote:I went to Waterstones in Reading last night, but couldn't see it. went into the bookshop today. My birthday is a couple of months away so thought I'd check it out so I could give precise instructions to potential present buyers, (assistant found it under the environment section, and I had been looking under the gardening section). Looked up my page. It is a picture of lots of potatoes! The dh immediately said "I shall learn how to be a couch potato, brilliant". I muttered darkly, "No learning required". Assuming, (I know never assume...), that I am not really to make myself a potato outfit, I looked at the next page - grow potatoes, parsnips and peas. I was doing the pots and peas so I went and bought some parsnip seeds. That's me sorted, and I feel a bit relieved and a bit unchallenged, but having seen some of the things it could have been I'll cope with being relieved.

Oh dear - what have I let myself in for! That would mean buying a new car!ina wrote:CC - I doubt that just buying the seeds will do - you'll have to grow them yet!
Right,I'd better choose a page before mine arrives...
321?
However, maybe we can come to a compromise... Funny enough, my employer is just thinking of producing their own biodiesel (from used cooking oil) for the company fleet of cars - all run on diesel - plus, I suppose, the tractors etc. I have already put in my twopence worth of opinion on that, and intend to go on doing so, if they let me!
