Hello from someone with great ambitions

Post: # 94242Post Highland Hopeful »

Hi everyone,

My names Stuart, and I live in the south of England with my girlfriend. We're here on a very short term basis, as we hope to move to the Scottish Highlands in a year or two and aim to be self sufficient. We're working on some business ideas right now that will hopefully allow us to achieve this.

I am very ambitious with self sufficiency. I don't just want to grow my own food, I want to generate my own power with renewables, pump water from the ground and re-use everything that goes down the sink or toilet.

I'll probably lurk and learn for a while.

Regards,

Stuart

Hiya Stuart, and welcome! Don't just lurk - the best way to learn is by asking questions... And there's quite a few of us up here in the highlands or thereabouts - so you'd be in good company!

Hello Stuart, I'm up in the far north of Scotland, planning to apply for a croft soon so I can start growing more of my own meat as well as veggies which I'm already doing. Keep us updated with your enterprises!
