Well the landfill reduction prize ought to go to a product that save landfill... unfortunately most products only add to landfill...

but in the spirit of the challenge and because my bin tends to contain mostly packaging... I nominate compostable plastic wrapping (there are somethings that the general population feel much more secure buying in packets... grapes, rice, sanitary products... if they were all wrapped in the compostoble plastic then I would hardley ever send anything to the dump :cheers:

Materials which reduce landfill impact are welcome but the achievement of individuals in the cause is worthy of recognition. Such people will embolden others to greater effort.
