Good to see more quality on here. Too many Aussies here. Just joking though, they are all a good bunch here really.

I'm in North Otago but am like you, a refugee from mud and mortgage in the North Island. I couldn't afford Nelson so came further south.

You can learn a lot on here but must bear in mind they most are in the wrong season.

Thank you Jack! I understand about skipping Nelson, the prices here seem so high now.

I am enjoying the English sense of humour, it definitely feels familiar.
Pity about the seasons, I always feel either apologetic or envious!
But they gave us fish and chips, so mustn't grumble, eh?

Rubbish. They didn't give us fish and chips. Old Maui gave us the biggest bit of fish ever. And there aint no fish story that can touch that one.

I have just left them alone, and they are fine... Hazy memories of self-pollination? We do have clouds od bumblebees around, haven't noticed if they like the toms or not though.
