Mine was membership to a veggie introduction agency type thing ... .where I met my husband. We've now been together 7 years and most of the time I consider it money well spent!

What about you?

Ummmm......

The best £100 i ever spent was on my MP3 player (its the bayliss wind up media player).

But then again, the best £85 i ever spent was on BGG tickets...

hmm...

Or it could have been my boots...they're always a good buy...or possibly my favourite jeans...but they were only £10 from Ebay...

£14 my purple wrangler boots in the Brantano Kid's sale.
if you add £429.79 to the £50 mentioned then I guess that's my camera...

ooo!! £50, my 320gb external hard drive. saved a lot of hassle when we got the better PC.

My external hard drive, too... such a life-saver!

I'd have to say my dog. Nothing else I've spent that much on has given me so much enjoyment.

BGG is Big Green Gathering

£50 is roughly $100 US

------------

Legoland tickets, OK they were more than £50 for 3 of us, but they were worth every penny to see my oldest son so very very happy.

Not sure 'bout exchange rates,Ellendra ,but approx $75. The best £50 i spent was on a hand-made "Dragon" weather-vane.(A pressy for my wife)
its either one or the other,or neither of the two.

The one-way ferry ticket from the UK. Don't get me wrong - I liked living in England, but I love living in Italy. It's all I wished for and much more.

Early 1980's: An RAC/ACU certified full face crash helmet for my pillion, it quite literally was a life saver, and a face saver for that matter! (It might have been a bit more than 50 quid, but close enough for jazz) :rr:

I never understood open faced helmets.
Personaly, I like having a lower jaw.

No idea, I cant think of anything that cost around £50 and was overly useful.

Big Green Gathering.

I LOVE BGG! It completely changed my views, and made me feel more at peace with myself and everything i do. It also made me realise i'm not that strange after all, and the strange people are probably the best people!
