Not a good Day.

Got up at six to clean the Pool and found it full of leaves after a small storm last night, by 8 o'clock it was 22c and by 11pm it was 30c; Went to the veg garden and found most of the fruit trees had shed their leaves because of the heat , by 2pm the temp was up to 43c and I needed to collect some ballast for a concrete strip only to find the lites on the trailer did not work,and as I had a new hook fitted I thought new electrial harness was at fault so dropped into the garage to get it fixed and the guys got to work only to find the damn thing was useles and needed to be replaceed. By this time 4pm the temp was bloody hot, and the car and trailer in bits on the garage floor. So They gave me car and I returned home looking forward to a cold beer or 4, no such luck, one of the hens had decided that our side of the fence was better than their side so had flopped over to have a look, after 30mins and 1 pint of sweat later we got her back over her side where she walked sedatey over to her friends, no dought to tell them that it was the same, whilst I went to find that cold beer, now you may know that old folk have problems with short term memory and I am no exception, so where had I put the beer, in the shed before I took it up the put in the fridge that was 2 days ago and the shed is in the full sun and the temp inside was 46.5c so as I said not good day.

PS just looked outside 28c.
