Close to the Veg

Post: # 9021Post Wombat »

G'Day All,

When we were in London I paid a visit to the Waterfords (?) bookshop in Trafalgar square and picked up a copy of "Close to the Veg" - Subtitled "A book of allotment tales" by Michael Rand. I half read it on the way home to Aus in the plane! It is a mix of his allotment experiences mixed in with some of his life experiences and some more techo information on vegie growing.

Some of it applied more to you guys than my situation but I still found it a good read that taught me a few things - he knows his stuff well. So I thought you might like to know about it..........

Nice find Nev!

It's Waterstones bookshop, but a pretty close match.

That sounds a good book, Nev. I might get it for my significant other.

Yes to a book review section!!! (I am sure it HAS been mentioned before...)
