After Making Coq Au Vin for the first time ever - Have discovered that although the Tallest and I love it DH is not keen,
so consequently I have a tonne leftover - any suggestion as to what I can do with it please?
I certainly don't want to waste it.

Re: Coq Au Dear
Freeze it into smaller portions so that YOU and anyone else that likes it can eat it?

Re: Coq Au Dear
I think I would take the meat off the bones first.
Then reduce the "vin" sauce a bit and then thicken it with cornflour (3 heaped tsp to 1/2 pint)
Put meat in individual servings, cover with sauce and freeze, or eat straight away with a crusty roll
