I' not bored, just miserable.... I have given up and crawled into bed early

Oh, so sorry Annpan. It probably won't make you feel any better, but I often have days like that, too. Those days where you get woken early and have done at least an hour of work before you get your first cuppa, and you drink that standing up!
If you get to sit down during the day it's on here to read a couple of messages, perhaps a quick reply, then off again to do more chores. I can have day after day like that, then suddenly I wake up one day and just can't get going at all, probably 'cos I've worn myself out. Ugh! Those days are boring.

And if you saw the state of my house, you really wouldn't feel so bad. I finally got round to cleaning my living room and kitchen floors today, but only because DD1 asked in front of her BF if the big splodge of kiddie paint in the middle of the floor was a new one or the same one that's been there over a week. Her BF's mother is a cleaner for a living and apparently their house is spotless. Here you have to climb over things on the stairs just to go to the toilet, and don't you dare notice the major mildew problem we're having. I just keep reminding myself that I'm not a housewife. Housewives keep the kitchen floor clean, whereas (today being the exception) I make mine muddy
