WANTED - Chickens - Lanarkshire, Scotland

Since we don't seem to be getting enough free time to go looking for any I was wondering if any ishers have a few spare or know of some.

Not fussy about breed, for now.... but we are really only interested in 2 or 3 healthy ladies... not ex-bats as we are newbies and don't have the time, money or emotions to spend on poorly girls just yet.

We are right by the motorway (M74) so if anyone who frequently passes us knows of some maybe we could work something out. We can't justify a long trip to collect.

I am also after some, 4 to be precise.

Lanark market is on for poultry at the end of April.

or I can get some small ones in 7 weeks time but they wont start laying for another 6 months.
