Preserving Herbs

Post: # 156591Post mattphillips78 »

Hi Everyone,

I have lots of parsley growing this year, as well as mint, thyme etc. I have so much that i would like to be able to keep some back for the rest of the year. Can you dry these herbs and how do you normally do it?

Thank you for your help in advance,

Matthew Phillips

Just a bit of advice if you'll be freezing Basil - take the leaves off the stems and freeze them so as they're not touching another leaf (a big chopping board is good for this). When they're frozen then you can chuck 'em all in a bag/tub together.
NOT doing this will result in mushy horrible Basil.
