Three birth-notified Berkshire weaners (Aberdeenshire)

Post: # 157638Post Stonehead »

Due to a customer cancelling three days before delivery, I have three 10-week-old Berkshire gilts for sale now. They are birth notified and therefore eligible to be labelled as Pedigree Pork if the meat is sold to the public. The gilts were weaned at eight weeks, were wormed at nine weeks and are ready to go now.

The pigs are reared outdoors, are electric fence trained, and are breed from pedigree stock with excellent temperaments.

Berkshires make excellent pork. We kill ours at 28 weeks when they're around 80kg liveweight, which products 40-50kg of joints, chops, and other cuts.

The gilts are £60 each and are available immediately.

Background information on us and our pigs can be found at http://stonehead.wordpress.com/pigs/
