Dear Frnech Exiles,
I'm off on Holiday to Brittany next month- to my parents in law cottage. The house is somewhere near Quistinic.
While we don't have the biggest sway on things to do and see ( but we've been to Poul Fetan and in Carnac's case seen that and brought the t-shirt) We'd really like to be smart-arsey and say things like:

So, any suggestions.

Um, would love to help but Brittany is the size of Wales, and I live in the north east bit of the easternmost department!

I only know a part of my department - Ille et Vilaine (35). I don't even know where you are staying as I haven't heard of this town/village and don't even know which dept it is!
Mind you Fougeres castle is worth a visit and there are some nice gardens just over the border in Mayenne, but I expect that would be too far from where you are staying. Rennes is worth a visit and I know a very nice and cheap curry place there but I don't suppose that is top of your priorities on a holiday in France!!!
