he asked his supervisor if he could take the planks of chipboard home with him and supervisor said hey, why not? what you're going to use them for I don't know though.....

yes, it's the biggest rosemary i have ever seen in my life and it came with the house lol.

I hate to do this, because James is so obviously very handy (well, he lives there and you can't get handier than that ). However, unless my eyes deceive me, that's OSB (oriented strand board) which has a 5% resin content as a binder. That, as it breaks down (which it will), produces formaldehyde. Now, the levels of formaldehyde produced are claimed to be well below the critical level (about 10%), so you're probably perfectly safe. But I thought you ought to know. I'd use it for a shed, but I'd be in two minds about sticking compost in it.

I'm not being a doom harbinger (I hope) - just information.

Another "sorry but" comment - I used OSB alot when building my house in UK and had some left over. Mixed concrete on it and it fell apart. When the water gets in it disintergrates very quickly.

We have 3 of these corales an we are planning a 4th so that we are self sufficient in compost at last! They are made from our poplars and are about 4metres long across the backs!!
