Birthday Cake
Hi all! Just posting a pic of the birthday cake I made for Nya - she was 1 last week! De-Li, from Waybuloo (you need to be a CBeebies fan to know this one...). Not my finest, but not awful. Cake was Buttercream Birthday Cake from Nigella's How to be a Domestic Goddess. Jam and buttercream between the sponge layers - gooseberry jam, courtesy of my jam-making grandmother Chocolate buttons all around the edge and the cake board, which got eaten much quicker than the cake did....

Thank you. I love decorating cakes but it never occurred to me before that I could stick the pictures on here. Nice to actually have someone look at them rather than just having some pictures on my phone that only I ever see!
