goodnight mr tom

Do you think The Good Life could be remade, with me or Dave playing Tom Good (maybe not!)? If you have seen something on TV or heard something on the radio recently that you want to talk about, tell us here.

Don't worry - you aren't the only one! We have it on DVD - great film!
Let us be lovely
And let us be kind
Let us be silly and free
It won't make us famous
It won't make us rich
But damn it how happy we'll be!

Not heard of it................can't believe it, its a truley good story acted out by a great cast, seen it many times.

How about Box of Delights, we always watch that each Christmas, done long before Harry Potter and has an old Dr who in it!!!!! won't say any more, but do have a look or read.

I've got that on VHS, was an xmas gift when I was little and I did watch it quite a few times. Might have to dig it out again while I still have a VHS player...

I'm a heathen :flower:

seen it, cried a lot, not reading it!! 'cos you can hide from films i.e. <oops I must check the oven!!> but not from books - turning two pages at once is just not done
