I've been on this bit of land for nearly a year now.
got chickens (hybrids silkies and minorcas) so good for eggs.
wood burner for heat and some cooking in winter. mostly gas for cooking though.
Run on solar and generator so good for leccy. wind turbine still in planning stage.
got polly tunnel up a bit late but good for lettuce, raddishes and dead flies.
On rain water. ok now but was down to a week's worth at one point.
got a dog so ok for... whats the dog for? oh yeah scaring ( but not catching) rats sleeping and whining.
so thats me.
