Man builds Hobbit house for 3k

I've just read a wonderful story about a man who has built a hobbit style home for him and his family. He had no previous experience and was allowed to build the house by the ownder of a forest who wanted someone to live there to look after it. The house itself is stunning and they even have a greenhouse for growing veg next door, solar panel and wood burning stove.

Ben Law's and this are my dream houses. Unfortunately I don't think I could ever live in one. They're so beautiful they make me cry - I'd never get anything done for sobbing!

Stunningly beautiful home but that looks like the one they are building now at the Lammas project and not his first home which is the one he built for £300

Lovely isn't it!? I stumbled across his site a while back and occasionally drift off into fantasies involving living somewhere like that. Just be nice to have the land to do it on first though!
