Weather
What's yours like this week?
I know it's been pretty good in the UK but it was high 70s here in the Charente Maritime yesterday and likely to be more today. We've set up the paddling pool for the twins - who are happily splashing about (along with Morris Lurcher, who loves water).
The polytunnel is bursting with seedlings, potatoes & onions are in and the sunny weather just about makes things perfect!

Re: Weather
It's so lovely here.
Sun and no leaves seems odd, but great all the same.

No I won't use a smiley because I've decided to turn into Boboff, as he's turned all nice all of a sudden. Grumble grumble.

Re: Weather
Yeah, it's been amazing here. We'd consider ourselves lucky to get weather like this in the height of summer, never mind the end of March.
Cheers

The kids were sunbathing in Worcestershire on 25th of March!......Strange days indeed...!.....nice though.
Re: Weather
Yes, here too.
In fact it has been (is) warmer than it normally is in June.
It'll probably all end in tears.

I spent the last part of my shift yesterday treating /comforting one of young people who had sunburn ! She had sat out it in for a good part of the afternoon.

Re: Weather
I have noticed a great pile of bumble bees flying about
Just because you see two eyes shining in the jungle at night, do not think that the worse thing that could happen is that you are about to be attacked by a tiger. It could be two one-eyed tigers.

Re: Weather
It's OK folks. Don't panic, it's life as usual up here.
After a lovely weekend (T-shirt warm) it's been cold and windy for the last two days. And now it's raining
Heyho.
P.S. We foxed it though - got the polytunnel covered over the weekend
Just need the wind to drop sufficiently to put the door back on

From today's Independent
Snow warning follows warm weather spell
Britons enjoying the current spell of unseasonably warm weather are warned they could face snow after the weekend.

Re: Weather
I know what you mean. I keep wondering if the trees have died and then I remember that it's only March. It's been far too lovely to be stuck inside studying. I'm like a school kid that can't wait to put the books down and run outside.boboff wrote:It's so lovely here.

Re: Weather
Back in winter jacket again since yesterday.
I'm pleased though, because I don't want the spring flowers and blossom to go over too quickly. I also know what sudden hot weather can do to PSB (render it not worth bothering to grow!) so that's another reason. Sorry.

Re: Weather
Thankfully it has rained now, though it did lead to a moist pussy as he doesn't like the noise of the condenser drier & preferred to stay outside till it finished
