This takes a little time to view but it has taken a time to do. The views are of some of the places around including the Croagh Patrick taken from our back garden.

Absolutely fantastic. You really have worked hard, and done a fantastic job by the looks of it. Well done. Hope you're sat with your feet up now.

No I've got to cut up the wood for winter AND get the turf home for the fire. Oh a man's work is never doneRosendula wrote:Absolutely fantastic. You really have worked hard, and done a fantastic job by the looks of it. Well done. Hope you're sat with your feet up now.

Wonderful conversion! I'd like to stay in such a lovely holiday home for sure. Pity we're always camping...

Re: Cow Barn to Holiday Home
Well done great job, I am glad to see you didn't knock it down, so many of the vernacular buildings in Ireland are getting tossed in favour of a nice new one made out of blocks. We have an old house we have gutted built c1790 big thick stone walls, we were advised to knock it down, but we have gutted it and are in the process of restoring, although we have removed the render and repointed and repaired the stone, but fair play to ye, great job
