Visited our allotment today, behold our first shoots are pushing through. Broad beans and onions  yippee!

The important things in life then. Glad I wasn't planning on putting in early broad beans as it has been too wet to work here.

This made me giggle. Not because I'm not excited for your shoots, always a wonderful sight but because I have, sitting on my kitchen worktop a turnip which has started regrowing! It obviously likes it there and I don't quite know what to do with it. Like you said the first shoots are so exciting - even in the most inappropriate place.
