uses for a bread bag

101 Uses For is popular and let's hope it stays that way. Our second book is presently called 101 tips for self sufficiency; we will certainly dip into this section for ideas. So post away and let's try and get at least one thread up to 101.

uses for a bread bag

Post: # 29241Post maggie144 »

i use them tied to canes or sticks in the veggie garden, it helps keep the birds off the seedlings.

I also use them to collect slugs and then i dispose of them to my very hungry ducks. who love nothing better than a juicy slug to eat.

With holes cut for head and front legs they are just the right size to protect new born lambs from cold and rain. An assortment of bags and your lambs will have their names written on their sides for identification as well eg. Hovis and toastie

I was working in the house of an elderly gentleman today and he used a bread bag to give the snagger a sample of brick so he could match it!!!
Let us be lovely
And let us be kind
Let us be silly and free
It won't make us famous
It won't make us rich
But damn it how happy we'll be!
