Hello all, I'm a newbie !!

Hello everybody, I've pottered around and fancied taking an allotment for a while now and as of today I am the proud owner of the best and strongest brambles in the South Wales Valley's !

I am looking forward to loads of help and advice from you as and when I stumble !

Rather you than me! I will give you my favorite advice for new allotmenteers when you are clearing your allotment always face with your back to the weeds and brambles facing instead all the work you have done. - Helps keep the spirits up!

Creoeso am Self-sufficient-ish, WGA. I tried to leave a comment at your blog but you've disabled anonymous comments which makes it impossible for most people to comment on your blog.

I'm not surprised you thought it was a wildlife reserve rather than an allotment. It looks like a jungle to me. Good luck with it and keep us up-to-date with how it's going.

Do you mean me? It could because I'm using beta and you're still on "classic coke". Blogger do seem to be in a twist about that.

Just read your blog - nice brambles!

I thought Mr. C was part of "The Shamen" - no wonder he's not around very much (E's R Good and all that !).

I thought you'd like to admire my brambles and privet! I can only upload pictures as an avatar - so look to the left! There's less of both now, one year on, but still a wall of brambles at the end of the allotment. Still, 12pounds of blackberries safely stored frozen or seething away as wine in the making can't be all bad!
