desperately seeking plastic screwtop bottle caps

Post: # 45279Post newbiemum05 »

Can anyone tell me where I might find some screw top bottle caps to reuse some bottles I have for cordial making ??
Can't think of anywhere and need them asap ?
Any home brewing shops in fife ??

I just use the one that came off the bottle in the first place.

How are you? Haven't seen you about for a bit.

these are metal one's I was under the impression (probably wrongly LOL) that you needed those plastic ones ??

Hey Shirlz - it's been a bit mad - Hubby is on PC ALL the time with his Uni stuff, DS is running around being a loony again (he was in hospital with his asthma again the other week) and we went visiting family around Christmas so just trying to get back to normal LOL

Just bought myself a copy of Preserved from thebookpeople.co.uk for £3 !
(I used a free delivery code from the internet a I got a book for the boy too for £2 called muncha, muncha, muncha) so dying to try out all the new preserving ideas !!

Hopefully around a bit more now the hols are over, how are you doing ?

Yikes... sorry to hear that he's been unwell... my 12 year old suffers from asthma.. it's not fun!!

I bought that book too - it looks really good.

We are having a Neeps! meet up at Ina's house next weekend... there is someone else coming up from Fife! YAY... really looking forward to it.

ask at your local pub - they throw away bottles and caps when they refill cordial bottles.

I went to the book people after you mentioned that book, and bought it...and about 10 others! What a great sale!
