Rat bedding

I have three pet rats and get through loads of sawdust which ends up in the bin. If anyone could make use of it then I will give it to them gladly. I live in Bath.

Liked the article in Venue by the way boys.

Hey Paul!! 8)

I used to have two pet Rats..

Henry and louie!! aww

Louie died some time ago of a tumor. :(

and my darling little henry (everyone loved henry!!)

died in my hands last week..

i cried as you can see!!

People! pet rats are great little creatures to keep as pets - I could give Henry to a 2 year old child and know he would be okay, he never bit and was always so friendly!! They really intellegent and make great members of the family!!

Back to the point though, paul, I have a large bird cage I adapted, that would make a great addition to your rats home if you would like it.

I too, live in Bath!!!

Woo hoo!

Hi Genie
My two much beloved (and very spoiled) rats both died from tumours shortly after their second Birthdays.
Rats are highly intelligent and make for affectionate, socialable, fun and loyal pets. In short, they are better suited as pets for children than Hamsters.
I miss having pet rats dreadfully but don't have the time at the moment to provide adequate company. But I will again;soon, I hope.

I have two little darlings (Twinkle and Elf - i got them for christmas!!).

You can compost the sawdust Paul, it shouldn't cause a problem. I'd recommend composting it in a different bin to any other compost you have - sawdust takes ages to rot.
