Hello from the Isle of Man

Post: # 51184Post sumo »

Hello from a new member! I live in a small town near the sea. Quiet, which is how I like it.
Have always tried to live simply and as self sufficiently as possible.
Trying to simplify even further, but books (second hand) are a real weakness, especially as I re-read favourites many times!
Garden organically, dont drive (lucky me, dont have to) and recycle where possible.
Hope to pick up more tips from other like-minded people.

Hi Sumo

:welcomeish:

Books aren't a weakness... they are a necessity  well they are to me anyway. Oh... and if you fit bookshelves on the walls they provide insulation too ;)

Hello and welcome

Sounds like you have a similar lifestyle to me, I don't drive and spend a fortune on second hand books. In fact we have filled up our 3 shelving units, all of our fixed shelves and the mantlepiece with books. Managed to get a second hand book case for £5 the other day

Of course garden organically too and look forward to the exchange of tips.
