IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT - FORUM WILL BE DOWN....
for a bit. Hopefully over the weekend if I can get server space by then. I am currently talking to a few possibilities but our time with the present server company runs out this time next week (22nd March) and we have to move by then or pay for another year with the ironically named host excellence.
What I will do is shut down the forum on the old server and have it set up on the new one. We get a new ip address and it takes a couple of days for the internet to catch up and recognise the new address. It is a hair rasing time for me and I hated it last year when I had to do it, it should mean a much faster forum and all the rest of it. I know I said that last time but I did not do the research propally then, I have now. All the other articles should not be affected over on the main site, the data works differently on the forum though.
I am sure that shirlz will happily accomodate people in the meantime over on neeps, just please do come back.
And if you find that selfsufficientish is not working for a day or two don't worry, it will and it will be back faster and more reliable than ever!

I can set up a little refugee bar in the corner lol.... and don't worry, I'll kick them all out at closing time!! Bring your passports though as you'll be sailing north of the border
Looking forward to a whizzy whizzy Ish site once the move has been done.

Quick update Without boring you with the details as for why - It won't be until Monday-Tuesday when we move now. In short other peoples office hours.

See you all on the other side

There might be some disruption over the next few days and especially tonight , with the move.
I hope it all works ok, big cheers to bywaymark who is helping me out on this one.
The new server has a lot more bandwidth and so it should make a real difference to your experience on here. It also means that we should be ready should we end up getting many, many more users.
