favorite businesses
Are there any ethical businesses out there that you would recommend to others? Maybe a box scheme in your area or a seed supplier or an online shop that sells all sorts of wonderful goodies.

Abbey Farm Shop in Cirencester - http://www.theorganicfarmshop.co.uk/
An organic farm with it's own shop and cafe. The food in the cafe is excellent. They also do talks and education on organic farming.

Goodness Direct are pretty good. Not the cheapest but they are reliable.
Don't forget the likes of www.suma.coop for bulk buying as a food co-operative.

well riverford is local to me ... but even though they cover a wide area.. its run as a co-op, so the veg is still local. River Nene is a sister group to Riverford

tomato fest
just found this tomato seed supplier.
in the US but the varieties are fantastic, probably worth paying the postage to get a selection, as tomatoes are very easy to save seed from and dont readily cross pollinate.
