101 things that have happened since the birth of Sish

101 Uses For is popular and let's hope it stays that way. Our second book is presently called 101 tips for self sufficiency; we will certainly dip into this section for ideas. So post away and let's try and get at least one thread up to 101.

101 things that have happened since the birth of Sish

Post: # 60423Post Andy Hamilton »

We started this site back in April 2004 over three years ago now. So what has changed since then? It might seem like nothing much as life has a habit of rushing by, think about it though a lot has happened in that time. In the world and to each of us. - Lets try and keep it to just positive things.

1. My first nephew was born
2. My 2 god children were born
3. Moved house
4. Berlin wall came down, Nelson Mandela was released, first man on the moon.... er no wait going back a bit far there...
so real 4. The selfsufficientish web forum was started (October 2004)

21 Met Chris, got engaged, moved his washing machine in then moved in himself - all within 3 months (and still blissfully happy 2 years later!! How soppy is that)!

22 Went back to college and re-trained as a electrician - 4th best thing I ever did!

23 I turned 40 and feel younger than I did at 25!

24 Was bridesmaid to my good friend who divorced 8 moths later

25 Discovered ISH!!

26 Turned lots more selfsufficient and loving every minute of it!!
Let us be lovely
And let us be kind
Let us be silly and free
It won't make us famous
It won't make us rich
But damn it how happy we'll be!
