Hello Everyone. On July the 14th my friend and are are going on a road trip. We're going to try and go to western Canada but basically we just want to get out of our small town which we both have barely been out of. We're just sick of routine and we need to get out. So, I've been saving my money, but it looks like i might be a bit short. So I've taken up crocheting, and have made this shoulder bag and 10 belts out of jute. They are high quality and very strong. I have just taken old worn out belts and taken the buckle, crocheted the belt and added them. The entire process takes anywhere from 2 to 3 hours. I'm asking $20 (Canadian) for the bag, and $10 (Canadian) for a belt. I know that you have to pay at least that much if not more for a mass produced one at zellers. Anyways, you'll be putting gas in my tank or food in my belly on my trip, so I appreciate any help. Oh, also I would need you to pay the shipping too. Thanks a bunch.

Hey Jordan,

You are very talented!

My partner says you could have a go making jute rugs for horses. He used to be in the Household Calvary and they used them to keep the horses warm, but the rugs can 'breath, which is very good. He says they are very heavy but you could make some good money making them! (take a bit of time to make!) :flower:
If in doubt ~ use a hammer!

well, i can see that this was a big hit

shiney, yeah there probably would be some money, however it would take me a lifetime to make something big enough to cover a horse, that bag itself took over 4 hours 8)

well, if anyone has 10 loonies than can spare to support a youth that will NOT be spending his summer in front of a tv screen, feel free to do so.

thanks
