Put your banananananana into a blender with some honey, milk and oat meal. Give it a whizz and hey presto a fab breakfast smoothie that's so filling it lasts 'til lunch time! You can also add things like stem ginger strawberries, raspberries etc. The thing is it doesn't really matter if your nana is a bit mushy!

And let us be kind
Let us be silly and free

It won't make us rich
But damn it how happy we'll be!

squashy overripe bananas are the best.. and supermarkets cut the price to get rid of them!

I think it's wonderful.

Nah, its not over ripe at all, the skin is perfect, no brown, but somethings happened to the inside. Its kind of congealed and slimy, and sometimes a red-brown vein effect is seen. I loved ripe bananas, but not ones like this :pale:

Ah well, managed to find some half decent ones for now, just have to check and feel each one, which takes ages as we go through about 3 large bunches a day

Sounds like handling and transport damage.............doesn't show up on the banana untill it starts to ripen.
