i am getting a garden!!!

Post: # 71011Post mrsflibble »

mr flibble, myself and the miniflib all went a-house hunting today... again. most of the places we've seen have been total dives for our price range, but today we walked into a lovely house. large for a 2 bed, and it has a fair sized garden. I'm just sooooo happy!!!

we've put down the holding fee and the credit reference fee... and we have over a month to give them the deposit and first months rent.

i think finally I will be able to sleep lol!
oh how I love my tea, tea in the afternoon. I can't do without it, and I think I'll have another cup very

Congratulations! Decent houses still seem to be very rare... Especially when you are renting.

I told you, they're getting their own planter. you have to see the garden. it's currently totally paved.... but the landlord is happy for us to make it greener.
and it's not big, but it's enough for us.

this house is the first one out of nearly 10 that we've viewed in the area that's
1. dead on budget PCM
2. big enough to swing several dead cats
3. not a mould-infested rat-hole
4. safe for kiddies
5. in an area where you'll get stabbed if you look at someone in the wrong way.

hubby has done so much overtime this months that we wont be in financial schtup for 4 months after we move again so that's another major bonus!

I hope that 5. should have been "NOT in an area..."? :?

Congrats - We've not long moved into a lovely big house to rent - with a garden Hubby has been busy turning into a fantastic herb patch.

It's a lovely feeling to have space and room for everything. How we crammed everything that fits nicely into a large 3 bed house into a small 2 bed flat I really don't know!!
I'm increasingly of the belief that any shops situated on or near retails parks only serve to make people unhappy.
