OOOOOPs just too busy bandwidth exceeded

Post: # 89268Post Andy Hamilton »

Seems that we have gotten very popular this month, in fact our stats show that there have been more of you visiting in the last couple of days than we have ever had on any other day.

March 2008 is officially our busiest month ever on selfsufficientish!

As a result I was busy behind the scenes trying to make sure our server could cope with the extra traffic and for just under an hour it couldn't. All sorted now and our server could even cope if you told your friends and family to join up

Nice to know that the reason things went haywire for a while was because we are so popular :flower:

No wonder - seeing that you've prodded everybody on to be a bit more active! I can't keep up with all the new posts!!!

It crashed just as my other half was uploading his Avatar. I tried to convince him it was his fault :violent1: but he wasn't having it!

Hopefully, it's all to do with the pre-publicity for your book and lots of people are now discovering Ish!
