Seedlings

Post: # 101794Post ukwife »

Ok, so I have some seedlings in my kitchen window. Zukes (courgettes) and Toms .. The toms were planted by my hubby and they are in a tiny newspaper made pot but the plants are crowded. All plants are about 2 inches high but in dire need (in my opinion) of being moved. I don't know if I should repot them inside into something bigger or see if they'd survive outside now, being so small.

Any thoughts?

Where are you?

I am in central Scotland and my tomatoes and courgettes are all outside, in a cold frame but I have taken the lids off, they get some protection but it has been that hot here over the past few days I really didn't think it would matter.

I guess they will still need protection if the weather takes a turn for the worse.

well each change is a little shock for seedings.. so I only try to do one at a time.. say prick them out, but keep in the same location.. rahter then prick them out and move them...
