Location: grass in front garden, previously location of conifer (9 months ago), shop-bought compost recently laid down
Habit: 2 fungi in clump
All data is for mature fruitbody
Smell: a little like a domesticated, but more perfumed

Dia (mature): 7cm
Shape: Slightly hat-like (conical)
Margin: Slightly inrolled
Veil: none present
Texture: Firm, slightly fibrous
Skin: smooth at centre, scales midway out, fibrils at circumference
Colour: mid brown at centre, breaking up to off-white under scales and at fibrils
Gills: free, cream colour, very crowded, flexible
Spore print: White
## Stem ##
Length (mature): 13cm
Colour: off-white with brown tinges
Ring: Very prominent double, movable, near top of stem, 5cm dia
Shape: Straight
Texture: woody, fibrous, bruises pinky-brown
Attachment to cap: At centre
