Dear Fee and Ina,

I know exactly what you mean but I've found a wonderful solution  I got a cheep pattern for pyjamas from the sewing shop and some cheep, fairly thin cotton and made some shorts. The shorts must end just above your knee because then as you walk they ruck up slightly but not so far that you have flesh touching.

I made them big and baggy so it's actually allot cooler to wear them under a skirt then not to.

Do use the pyjama paterns 'cos they're really simple, just like sewing four rectangles together.

I can't emphasize how good they are, they've changed the whole way I dress.

I might have to give that a go as well then. At the moment, i have leggings from Peacocks (the primark ones have really weird low waistlines).

Have you joined team TTT?

I think it needs a good resurrection - i could do with some tips and a bit of motivation!

I'm a 16-18, but i'm 5'11" (except for the hospital measuring thngy when i had my pre op appointment - the nurse measured me as being 5'8". I
m sure it was to make my BMI higher...). I want to lose 2 dress sizes. I don't do weight - i'd end up not eating if i knew what i really weighed!

Fee - good on the not weighing yourself, bleedin stupid contraptions scales are (just the bathroom kind, the kitchen kind I like  ) You feel healthy, you look healthy, then you are, none of this, I have 2oz  to loose

MrsF, I agree, I just try to do what I think is right, I don't need someone else giving me a telling off for having a bag of chips.

This is my Milk Chocolate Chip Cookie Diet

No Milk (or cheese)
No Chocolate
No Chips (crisps etc)
No Cookies (cakes etc)

Its easy to stick to and no one is going to get you to count flippin calories.

I have still got my HUGE baby belly - I gained 5 stone when I was preggers, problem is, I am really active and have beautifully toned arms and legs (and bum  ) but, basically I still look pregnant, Just a big bag of empty skin and blubber hanging off me, yuch! :pale:

Anyway I refuse to diet until I stop being on my feet doing physical work, all the time, I need the sustinance to keep me going, besides it will go eventually... won't it :?

Hmmmm. Thought-provoking, this!

Barefoot - my Mum goes everywhere without shoes - and is comfortable, it's not for me though, with my sensitive wee footsies..

We are often naked round the house and go to the loo in front of each other/bathe together...

However, I am in Britain, and with the best will in the world its normally too cold to go without clothes. We garden naked sometimes and splash in the paddle pool that way, also.

I used to go to a nudey beach in Australia and loved it - everyone was great. It was very liberating, swimming without clothes.

It's alright in the jungle, where it's warm and there are a lack of textiles. But not right for the UK, I feel. So I'll "keep my hat on" if you don't mind :king:

I'm working on the 1500 cals a day (give or take), 350 for brekkie, 300 for lunch, 3-400 for dinner and working in one 150 cal treat a day (bag of walkers squares, cadbury brunch bar, half a chunky milkybar, mini roll, 2 sherbet dip daps etc...)
I've found if I work the treat into my day, I'm not feeling as crappy as if I were on a set diet.
I've found I'm snacking more on fruit and veg which is good so I'm actually getting my 5 a day lol!
I've been doing this 2 weeks, and my jeans already fit better.

Good for you Mrs F. I've been at slimming world for about 6 weeks now and lost about a stone. I have to weigh myself - every day usually - just to see how much weight I've lost. If I don't then I can't judge how well or badly I'm doing. Clothes fit again but I still want to go down a couple of dress sizes as I felt so much better when I was slimmer.
